PRESS RELEASE - 14 September 2016
Commercial Reform Act Receives Royal Assent
As part of the ‘Building up the Server’ economic action plan, the Governor General has granted Royal Assent to the Commercial Reform Act, 2016. This act modernises the Commerce, Retail and Currency Act so that is compatible with the new Constitution that was adopted in 2015. It also allows the government to grant retail licences to entrepreneurs who wish to sell their wares and services to the public at large.
